The Britz Voyager is one of their newest designs — a slim-lined campervan that's much easier to drive than older models. It sleeps up to four people, with a comfortable double bed inside and a second double bed in the pop-up rooftop tent.

This is a great choice for first-timers. It handles well and parks easily thanks to the reversing camera. The slim design makes it less intimidating on the road.

Inside, you get everything a couple or two couples need for a week: gas cooker, fridge with freezer, microwave, and central cabin cooling. There's internal walk-through access so you don't have to go outside to move around the van.

The trade-off? That rooftop bed gets cold in winter months. And the solar panel only provides a trickle charge, so book powered sites — you'll need the mains power.

One important detail: the rooftop bed has a 200kg maximum weight limit, so keep that in mind when deciding who sleeps where.

Luggage

We strongly recommend that you use soft bags instead of suitcases for your luggage. Soft bags take up less room and fit easier into the storage cupboards and lockers in the vehicle. There is no room to store large hard cases.
