The Crib is a simple, budget-friendly flat-top camper — a solid option if you want to keep campervan travel cheap and straightforward. It's not certified self-contained, so you'll need to book paid campgrounds rather than free camp along the way.

Space fills up fast in here. It works best for people who love being outdoors and are happy to do daily tasks — cooking, hanging out — outside the van, saving the inside for driving and sleeping.

The trade-off for the lower price is age. This vehicle is older than most other options in the range, so expect some general wear and tear. Check it over before you leave the depot and note down any existing damage so there are no surprises at drop-off.

We wouldn't necessarily put a first-timer in this one if they want the full campervan experience — other vehicles do that better. But if you've camped before and want something to sleep in instead of a tent, as a step up from that, the Crib is a great fit.
