New to the Kiwi Campers fleet, the Kiwi Hi 4 is a modern and spacious vehicle that can accommodate four people. With a well thought-out design, the vehicle makes great use of space but does not compromise on comfort. Kitted out with a microwave, fridge, two burner gas-stove, and fresh water, this vehicle has all you will need to get started on your next adventure.

This refurbished Toyota Hiace is a budget-friendly 4-berth that punches above its weight. The layout makes surprisingly good use of the available space, so it feels roomier inside than you'd expect from a compact campervan.

After a week it stays comfortable for couples and manageable for four travellers if everyone keeps gear organised. The automatic transmission and manageable size make it a good choice for first-time campervan travellers.

You trade the luxury and bathroom space of a larger motorhome for easier driving, better fuel efficiency, and a more compact setup. For the budget price you're getting a slightly older but refurbished vehicle.

The self-contained certification gives you more flexibility for overnight stops without needing fully serviced campsites every night. Make use of New Zealand's free camping options, but pack a portable phone charger to fill the gap between powered sites — you won't have access to power to recharge devices when freedom camping.
