This is a modern sleepervan built for freedom camping, with solar power and a flexible sleeping system that makes it work for families or friends. You can set up four single beds or combine them into two singles plus a large double — unusual flexibility for a sleepervan.

The off-grid power setup means you're not constantly hunting for powered campsites. The solar panels charge while you drive and when parked, so you can stay off-grid longer than most vehicles. It's certified self-contained, making it one of the better options for extended freedom camping in New Zealand.

The trade-off is space. This is still a sleepervan, so you get less headroom and living area than a motorhome or larger campervan. With 4 people, the dedicated living space helps, but it's tight.

First-timers will be fine — the modern features like built-in navigation, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto make getting around straightforward. Just get the depot staff to explain the solar and battery systems before you leave. Once you understand how it charges itself, you'll know how long you can stay off-grid and get the most out of the vehicle.
