The Koru Star 4 Berth is one of the best compact 4-berths on the market. The fleet runs 2023 or newer models, and the design is focused on making the most of the living space without going big on the outside.

It fits four adults, but this van is really at its best with two adults and two kids or teenagers. All four seats are close together, and the two front seats swivel to face the rear — so you can actually talk to each other while you're on the road, which makes a real difference on long drives.

The electric drop-down bed is one of the standout features. Hit a button and the second bed lowers from the ceiling — no fussing around with cushion conversions at the end of the day. After a week on the road, that matters.

The Koru Star is also certified self-contained, so you're not locked into holiday parks every night. That opens up a lot of options for where you can stop and stay.
